Getting the right harness size makes all the difference — a well-fitted harness is comfortable, secure, and safe. Here's exactly how to measure your dog so you can order with confidence.

How to Measure
1. Neck
Measure around the base of your dog's neck, where the harness will sit. Keep the tape snug but not tight — you should be able to slip two fingers underneath comfortably.
2. Chest
Measure around the widest part of your dog's chest, just behind the front legs. Again, keep the tape snug with two fingers of room.
Always measure both — some dogs have a proportionally larger chest than neck (or vice versa), so it's important to check both measurements against the size guide and size up if they fall between sizes.

Tips for Getting the Right Fit
- Don't worry if you're between sizes. Because our sizes overlap and each has a wide adjustment range, dogs on the border between sizes can comfortably fit either — just adjust the straps to suit.
- Check both measurements. If your dog's neck and chest point to different sizes, go with the larger of the two.
- Puppies grow fast. The large adjustment range means a harness can often grow with them for longer — sizing up gives you extra room as they develop.
- Re-measure regularly. Weight changes and coat thickness (especially in winter) can affect fit.
How Should a Harness Fit?
A correctly fitted harness should sit snugly without restricting movement. You should be able to slide two fingers under any strap, and the harness shouldn't shift or rotate when your dog walks. If it's riding up towards the neck or slipping back towards the belly, it needs adjusting.
